Etoro stands out as probably the most user friendly Forex trading platform in the business. Yes, they are new, but sometimes that is as good thing, especially bearing in mind the rate at which software development is improving. When they claim that they are making Forex trading easy they are doing just that. Always remember that no-one can guarantee trading success, its just that some make it a smoother experience than others

Risk management options are expressed in dollars, not points, which makes life easier. If you do want to alter your stop losses once you have opened a trade you will have to do so in points, not dollars, but if you are at that stage, then quick calculations should be coming second nature to you by now anyway.

Graphs are straightforward and easy to customise if you are following trends. And if you are not sure whether to buy or sell, there is a 'trader's insight' which tells you what trades their top 100 traders are placing. Whilst this function shouldn't be taken as an 'oracle', if you decide to short sell the GBP/USD and everyone else is buying you'll know that you should reconsider your actions.

For beginners there is more good news, as they will soon be enabling 5,000 lot size trading in currencies, which means you can go easier on the leverage. 5,000 lot sizes are available on the demo account, but they are not yet available for live trades. There is live chat, and a forum which is a good source of trading education for beginners, and generally a good place to exchange ideas with fellow traders.

Etoro's platform also allows trading with major commodities - gold, silver and oil. If you want to dip your toes in the market you don't need to change software or broker, just make sure you get to grips with the quantities and pip sizes of the individual commodities before you trade them (they are not the same as currencies).

Etoro provide a remarkably simple yet comprehensive platform for traders of all experience levels, although it is beginners that will appreciate the software more than anyone else. Try the demo.
